Geotechnical Project Engineer/Manager
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Reports to: VP of Project Management
- Location: Corporate Headquarters – Greenville, SC
- Description: The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day job requirements progress according to the job schedule and serves as a point of contact for field personnel. The Project Manager is also expected to assist in establishing and growing the company business and may be asked to participate in equipment selection, staffing, and production rates.
- Education, Experience, and Requirements:
- BS, MS in Civil Engineering with geotechnical emphasis
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure
- 5 to 7 years of geotechnical experience preferred
Foreman
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Reports to: Job Site Superintendent
- Location: Corporate Headquarters – Greenville, SC
- Description: The Foreman is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day job requirements progress according to the job schedule and serves as a point of contact for field personnel. The Foreman is also expected to assist in establishing and growing the company business and may be asked to participate in equipment selection, staffing, and production rates.
- Education, Experience, and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management preferred, but not required
- 4+ years of construction experience
- Advanced knowledge of construction and project requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to negotiate, manage on-site issues
- Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints
General Laborer
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Reports to: Foreman
- Location: Corporate Headquarters – Greenville, SC
- Description: The General Laborer duties will include but may not be limited to providing physical labor on construction sites under the direction of the foreman. Activities may include preparing the sites for job requirements, loading or unloading materials, running certain types of light equipment, using a shovel or broom, etc.
- Education, Experience, and Requirements:
- Completed high school or equivalent education
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must be able to pass a drug test prior to employment and at any time, as requested
- Must maintain valid driver’s license with fewer than 6 points
- Must have reliable transportation and ability to show up on time
- Must be able to work outside and in all kinds of weather and for long hours
- Must be able to stoop, bend, and crouch; use hands, arms and legs fully; lift up to 80 pounds with frequent lifting, and carry objects weighing 50 pounds or less
- Must be available to travel out of town Monday-Friday, as needed (per diem provided)
